What to expect before you book.
Every new dog has a meet and greet before joining a group. Tanya considers their health, energy and behaviour around other dogs, then confirms whether there is a suitable place. Group walks are not suitable for every dog.
You’re welcome to enquire. Please describe what your dog finds difficult and any handling needs. Tanya will discuss suitability honestly; an enquiry does not guarantee a place in a group.
Group walks include 60 minutes on foot; private walks are 30 or 60 minutes. All include collection and return within the service area. For groups, collection is between 10–10:30 am or 12:30–1 pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays. Allow up to two hours away from home for a group outing, including travel. Private collection is 3–3:30 pm, with early walks available by arrangement. Tanya confirms your collection window when accepting the booking.
Group walks are on lead. Please have a secure, well-fitting collar or harness ready and let Tanya know about any equipment or handling requirements at your introduction.
Walks go ahead in light rain when conditions are safe. Heat, storms, smoke or unsafe paths may mean a changed time or cancellation. Tanya contacts you to agree on any change. If Footpath & Co. cancels, you can choose a full refund or credit.
Give at least 24 hours’ notice before your collection window to cancel or change a walk without charge. With less notice, a fee of up to 50% of your booked walk price may apply, limited to reasonable unrecovered costs. The same policy applies if your dog cannot be collected. If the place is filled, no late cancellation fee applies. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
One-off walks are paid before the confirmed walk. Regular bookings are billed weekly in advance for the scheduled walks. Tanya provides payment details after confirming your dog’s place. No payment is required to enquire or attend the introduction.
Yes. Once your dog has been accepted, agree on regular days and a collection window with Tanya. Regular group walks are $50 each; private walks are $48 for 30 minutes or $80 for 60 minutes. Billed weekly, with no minimum term. There are no charges for public holidays or walks cancelled by Footpath & Co. Let Tanya know about holidays or changes at least 24 hours before collection.
You’re welcome to ask Tanya about her police check, dog first aid and CPR training, and public liability insurance before booking. She’ll confirm the current status and relevant details of each at your introduction.
The introduction takes about 20 minutes and is free, with no obligation to book. You’ll discuss your dog’s routine, health and behaviour, secure access for collection and the service terms. If the service is suitable, Tanya confirms available places and the next steps.
Tell Tanya about your dog, your suburb and preferred days. She’ll respond within one business day to discuss availability and arrange your complimentary introduction.
New clients: arrange your introduction first. Walk bookings are for dogs already accepted into a group.
